Quality Control
Our Quality Assurance department closely monitors the quality
and reliability of our products to ensure that they meet our stringent
quality requirements as well as the PRC industry standards.
Our quality control system encompasses stringent quality control
carried out consistently at all stages of our production processes,
from raw material procurement and manufacturing to inspection
of end products. We have also established procedures and implemented
rules for various aspects of our manufacturing process to monitor
the quality of our products.
Incoming quality control
We adhere strictly to a set of quality inspection procedures and
internal controls to ensure quality in all raw materials and supplies
delivered to our production plants. Mandatory random inspections
are carried out on all batches of raw materials before they are
accepted and stored in our warehouses. The raw materials are again
inspected when they are selected for use in the production process.
In-progress quality control
Only qualified staff who have completed the relevant training
are allowed to work on our production equipment. The production
team leader is responsible for checking on the production processes
while the quality control personnel carry out random sampling
of the products in every batch produced. We have established in-process
quality control at various stages of the production process to
ensure quality and productivity.
Final quality control
All our products undergo final quality inspection immediately
after being produced, labelled and packaged to ensure that all
products and packaging fulfill our quality criteria. Our finished
products are stored in our warehouses, which we continue to monitor
before delivery to customers. A final check is also conducted
to ensure that our products are in proper condition before they
are delivered to our customers.
To maintain our machinery and equipment in good order, regular
maintenance and repairs are carried out both by the suppliers
and our maintenance engineers.
Our subsidiary, Hualong was awarded ISO 9002:1994 and ISO 9001:2000
certification in April 2000 and May 2004 respectively.
